Sensory characteristics
Intense and persistent garnet red with notes of blackberries, plums, and raspberries; it has a wonderful spicy and delicate hint of vanilla and tobacco and displays a great complexity of aromas. It is full-bodied, deep, rounded, harmonious, and persistent with a licorice-like finish. Great structure, a good balance between alcohol and freshness, and velvety tannins. A perfect pairing with rich, creamy pasta dishes, roasted game, or game with chorizo or other grilled sausages.
